Adolescent Therapist | Evenings & Possible Weekends
We’ll be upfront: we’re not polished—and we’re not trying to be.
What we are is thoughtful, values-driven, and deeply invested in providing excellent therapy while caring for the people who make it possible. If you're looking for a practice that values curiosity over perfection and support over burnout, you might feel right at home here.
Health Hope Harmony is a holistic counseling practice in Cedar Rapids and Urbandale, Iowa. We specialize in body image concerns, eating disorders, mood disorders, and trauma. We’re currently seeking a clinician who enjoys working with adolescents and is open to evening hours (and possibly weekends)—because teens tend to keep their own schedules.
About Our CultureWe’re a teaching practice, which means you’re not expected to come in knowing everything.
- Learning is built into the job
- Questions are welcomed (and normalized)
- Growth happens through support, not pressure
No experience with eating disorder or body image work? That’s okay. Many of our clinicians started here without it. We provide training, mentorship, and support to help you grow into this specialty with confidence.
Provisionally licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply. Licensure supervision is included, and Sabrina Rogers, LMHC, is a state-approved supervisor.
No need for you to stress about scheduling, insurance, or collecting payments, we have an amazing practice manager who will happily support you in those areas.
We also believe therapists are humans. This work is emotionally demanding, and we value flexibility, boundaries, and having a team that actually notices when things feel heavy.
About the RoleThis position involves providing outpatient mental health counseling to adolescents and their families (adults are likely as well), completing required documentation, and participating as an engaged member of a collaborative team.
Evening availability is required; weekend availability is a possibility (if you want those hours).
- You enjoy working with adolescents
- You value collaboration and don’t want to practice in isolation
- You’re growth-oriented and open to feedback
- You appreciate structure without rigidity
- You take your work seriously without taking yourself too seriously
Please complete the application questionnaire and send your cover letter and CV/resume to
