Care Pro Health Services—Cedar Rapids has an immediate opportunity for a dependable and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team!

In this role, you will be responsible for compounding medications and assisting with delivery and shipments under the direct supervision of our registered pharmacist. This position is scheduled for full-time Monday thru Friday, with no evenings or weekends.

What You’ll Do:
  • Complete and file all required documentation related to compounding, clean room, facility maintenance, and quality control requirements
  • Prepare and compound medications under the direct supervision of staff pharmacist
  • Maintain inventory control of medications and related compounding supplies
  • Set up, maintain, calibrate, and clean pharmacy equipment
  • Accurately and efficiently compound medication requests per log sheet instructions
  • Assist with preparing delivery and shipments
  • Clean compounding room and hoods
  • Communicate with prescribers or their agents to obtain refill authorizations
What We’re Looking For:
  • CPhT certification or motivated to earn CPhT within 10 months of hire date
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Understanding of medical terminology and medication and dosage measurement
  • Strong computer skills required in order to enter patient information into the data system and utilize online resources as well as competency with Microsoft Office and internet navigation

Additional Requirements:

Post‑offer, pre‑employment background checks, reference checks, drug screen, and TB test required.
