The Job You Will Perform:

* Primary responsibility for leading the accounting and finance areas.

* Ensure development and implementation of administrative systems within the internal control framework established by the IP policies and controls group.

* Provide active, visible support for the mill safety program as the highest priority.

* Participate in the development of the budget, strategic plan, and capital plan.

* Support cost reduction efforts through analysis and highlighting cost reduction opportunities.

* Actively educate the mill team on key cost drivers and financial metrics.

* Work closely with the Global Sourcing Team to ensure that materials and services are procured at the lowest overall cost to IP while following financial policy.

* As a member of the Lead Team, will participate in setting policies and procedures that are consistent with the IP Way and which support high performance work systems.

* Understands and meets internal and external customer requirements.

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

* Five years experience in an Accounting/Finance position, preferably in manufacturing.

* Proven track record of developing and implementing administrative systems.

* B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance.

* Strong financial/treasury and accounting experience.

* Proven track record of behaviors, which promote and support a principle-based organization.

* Strong financial analysis skills and project management experience.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Experience in strategic plan and budgeting process.

* Strong facilitation skills

* SAP/Oracle knowledge preferred
