The Mission Systems Microelectronics Systems team based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa has new opportunities for individuals who want to grow their technical expertise on complex programs and fast-paced mission systems business area. In this role, you will support the complete system-v diagram from definition and decomposition to integration and test used in aerospace and defense. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, test, and manufacturing engineers to bring cutting-edge electronic systems from concept to production.

This is an ideal position with a background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field who are excited to grow their careers in the fast-paced world of microelectronics.

What You Will Do
  • System development in all systems technical elements of an entire development project. (Capturing system requirements through Validation & Verification)
  • Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, and development of military technology
  • Work closely within cross-functional teams
  • Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
  • Implement requirements, detailed design, integration, and verification in accordance with system development processes
  • Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions
  • Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment

Qualifications You Must Have
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
