We are currently searching for a Senior Reliability & Maintainability Engineer to join our team in Richardson, TX or Cedar Rapids, IA.
What YOU will do- S upport s program development through the application of reliability and maintainability techniques.
- P articipate s in all phases of program life cycle , utilizing reliability and maintainability methodologies as they apply in our systems engineering processes in accordance with military standards such as MIL-HDBK-217, MIL-HDBK-338B, MIL-HDBK-470, MIL-STD-1629A.
- Provides support to reliability and maintainability modeling and predictions analysis, testability analysis, maintainability and built-in-test demonstrations, environmental testing, FMEA/FMECA , and FRACAS.
- Provides input to the development of Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability & Maintainability analysis and predictions, Reliability Critical Items List, and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
- Serve as a Reliability & Maintainability representative to engineering and business leadership.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start.
- U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Two (2) years of experience with systems engineering lifecycle , with knowledge of how to apply reliability and maintainability techniques to systems requirements.
- One (1) year of d emonstrated experience supporting design and development teams to develop, assess, and verify Reliability & Maintainability related requirements for mission-critical systems.
- Three ( 3 ) year s of e xperience in conducting/developing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability & Maintainability analysis and predictions, Reliability Critical Items List, and Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Built In Test (BIT) design / verification analysis, and/or testability analysis.
