Common Platform Hardware (CPH) – Principal Electrical Engineer

This role is a U.S.

-based position in the Military Avionics and Helicopters (MA&H) organization. The Principal Electrical Engineer leads the development and sustainment of state‑of‑the‑art avionics hardware products, including integrated processing cabinets, displays, video processing modules, and control panels for military fighter, fixed wing, and rotary wing aircraft platforms.

• Lead ruggedized mission computer and display level product development.
• Design and qualify circuit card and sub‑level module assemblies.
• Oversee product transition and sustainment over the life cycle of the design.
• Manage integration activities for the KC‑46 VRCU and VPU, collaborating with project engineering, overall design, and certification leads.
• Lead P1, P2, and P3 integration and qualification preparation and testing, supporting platform and equipment systems request for troubleshooting and root‑causing failures during testing.
• Mentor and delegate tasks to less experienced engineers working the integration part of the KC‑46 program.
• Maintain documentation and communication with internal and external customers.
