Department OverviewThe Air Combat Test & Training (ACTT) Department develops digital training systems for U.S. warfighters, providing realistic combat simulations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering efforts for new technologies and customer needs.
- Build strong relationships and communicate with team members, suppliers, and customers.
- Perform CAM duties: plan, manage, and communicate project cost, schedule, and risk.
- Coordinate bid and proposal preparation.
- Manage multiple competing tasks and balance priorities.
- Travel up to 20% of the time.
- STEM degree with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years, or in absence of a degree, 12 years of experience.
- Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Experience making decisions that impact cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
- Customer‑facing experience.
- Experience with development, integration, test, installation, or support of military networking equipment, avionics, or radios.
- Background as a CAM using earned‑value management.
- Experience with Agile Project Management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Current DoD Secret or above clearance preferred.
