This role provides controls engineering support to assigned product lines, serving engineers, process owners, manufacturing, purchasing, vendors, technical service teams, field service, and end customers. Deliverables include electrical engineering design, programming for logic controllers and visualization interfaces, and technical support.
Key Accountabilities- Maintain a fully documented and accurate electrical design and control program that complies with Evergreen and industry standards.
- Maintain a cost balance for electrical design that achieves the lowest base cost with the highest manufacturing efficiency and lowest warranty, while also accounting for operational efficiency and lowest maintenance requirements.
- Produce electrical design/program changes to support sales orders, product improvements, and change requests/non‑conformances for assigned product lines.
- Provide timely, complete, and consistent technical support to internal and external business customers as required.
- Support the Controls Team to increase output, standardization, and repeatability of designs and programs through developing and continuously improving engineering tools and work processes.
- Maintain at minimum a 30‑day backlog of all assigned non‑conformances.
- Develop controls standards.

- The work itself: managing assignments of varying priority, evaluating new requests, integrating them into the work schedule, and delivering results on time.
Complete all phases of assigned accountabilities within appropriate scope, time, and cost. Operate with minimal supervisor support, manage newer and mid‑market product lines, and provide support and training to lower‑level staff as needed. Identify and produce moderate‑level standards, engineering tools, and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Knowledge and Experience- 2–5 years professional experience related to this position.
- Proficient with CAD – AutoCAD or Solid Works preferred.
- Proficiency with Rockwell Automation controls platform – Control Logix preferred.
