Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Locums Assignment in Iowa - Weekend Only
This Cardiothoracic Surgery locums assignment in Iowa offers weekend-only call coverage with light volume and predictable scheduling.
Highlights
Weekend-only coverage; full or half weekends
Light call volume with limited cases per weekend
Credentialing typically completed within 30-60 days
Practice Setting
Inpatient Level III hospital
Adult-only patient population
Full cardiothoracic surgical services supported onsite
Schedule
1-2 weekends per month
Ongoing need with holiday and vacation coverage
Consistent weekend blocks available
Cases and Procedures
Full-scope cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery
Mix of operative cases and consultative call
Includes pacemaker and open-heart procedures
Requirements
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Active Iowa license or open to IMLC physicians
ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
Travel Accommodations
Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage provided
Malpractice coverage included
