About the Position
Locum Jobs Online is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hospitalist MD in Davenport, Iowa, 52801!
We are seeking a full-time OB Hospitalist Physician to join a well-established inpatient women’s health program. This role focuses exclusively on hospital-based care, offering a collaborative model alongside midwives, anesthesia, NICU, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 24-hour in-house coverage for labor & delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER consults as needed
Manage inpatient OB and GYN patients in a high-volume setting
Participate in approximately 80 deliveries per month
Perform daily rounding on postpartum and post-operative patients
Serve as a regional referral resource for GYN patients
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care
Support and enhance standardized hospital protocols in a dedicated hospitalist model
No outpatient clinic responsibilities

Requirements
Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
Board Certified or Board Eligible in the United States
Active Iowa medical license or willingness to obtain
Clean malpractice history preferred
Recent NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
Ability to work full-time 24-hour in-house shifts
Strong teamwork and communication skills
