About the Position
Locum Jobs Online  is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Hematology and Oncology MD in Clinton, Iowa, 52732!

We are seeking a  full-time Hematology & Oncology Physician  to join a thriving practice in  Clinton, IA . This permanent opportunity offers a  Monday–Friday day schedule (8:00 am – 5:00 pm)  with minimal phone call after hours.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing expert care in both  medical oncology and hematology , splitting approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology.

Managing a patient population that includes adults and geriatrics, averaging 30 patients per day.

Conducting  new patient visits (30 min)  and  follow-ups (15 min)  efficiently and effectively.

Collaborating with a team including RNs, MAs, CNAs, and hospitalists, with onsite radiation oncology support.

Participating in a  professionally managed, state-of-the-art facility  with full ancillary services.

Contributing to quality initiatives such as  COC (Commission on Cancer) Accreditation  efforts.

This position is open to  Board Certified or Board Eligible physicians  with hematology and medical oncology experience

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible  in Medical Oncology and Hematology (within 5 years of residency).

Experience treating adult and geriatric oncology patients.

Active or eligible for  Iowa medical license .

Clean malpractice history preferred.

Recent NPDB self-query report  required (within 30 days).
