Cardiothoracic Surgery call coverage in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with low volume and weekend flexibility.

Highlights

• 1 to 2 weekends per month - full and half weekends available
• Light call volume - 2 to 6 cases per weekend
• Credentialing in 30 to 60 days

Practice Setting

• Inpatient Level 3 facility
• Adult-only patient population
• Charting in Epic
• Supportive, responsive team

Schedule

• Friday 5pm to Monday 5am
• Holiday weekends especially needed
• Vacation coverage also available

Cases and Procedures

• Full-scope cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery
• Includes pacemaker insertions and open heart procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Active Iowa license or IMLC eligibility
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA
