Pulmonary​/Critical Care – Advanced Practitioner – Cedar Rapids, IA

Overview

UnityPoint Clinic is searching for a Pulmonary/Critical Care Advanced Practitioner to join our well established team in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

• Established team of 5 physicians and 4 Advanced Practitioners in inpatient care
• Established practice serving the Cedar Rapids community
• This position will be inpatient only and provide hospital coverage
• Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Occasional weekends and nights required.
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• Inpatient coverage with admissions and consults;
  Physician available to call for support.
• Average of 12-15 patients per day
• Perrforming bedside procedures
• Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
• Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified
• ICU experience preferred
• Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
• Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
• Eligible to work in the United States
