- Family Medicine team exists of 5 physicians and 2 Advanced Practitioners
- Westdale clinic has both Pediatrics and Family Medicine providers, serving the Cedar Rapids Community and surrounding towns south of the metro area
- Opportunity to practice outpatient medicine in an established and well-known clinic
- Onsite X-ray (imaging services), Lab (Medlabs), and outpatient physical and occupational therapy.
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences
- Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community
- Position 1.0 FTE full time, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
- 24/7 hospitalist program is responsible for adult and pediatric inpatients
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- No nights or weekends
- Shared call amongst the providers. Triaged through My Nurse
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- General family medicine procedures such as joint injections, skin excisions, lacerations, casting, etc.
- Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of…
