• Prepare accurate estimates for diverse commercial construction projects - multi-family housing, office buildings, manufacturing, medical/dental, and more.
• Build strong relationships with GCs throughout Cedar Rapids and the surrounding areas.
• Review plans, conduct site visits, and develop winning bids across multiple sectors.
• Help select and implement estimating software to modernize our processes.
• Work with our skilled electrical team for seamless estimate-to-execution handoffs.
• Track and analyze results to continuously improve win rates.

• 4+ years of commercial estimating experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with GCs and clients.
• Experience with at least one modern estimating software (Bluebeam, Planswift, Accu Bid, etc).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to talk with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-starter with the ability to take ownership of their work and implement new processes and software as needed.
