Job Description Summary
Are you seeking an exciting opportunity to gain more investment and communications skills, combined with a focus on developing international business and commercial asset management knowledge? Then join our Strategic Partnerships team and get some in‑practice experience!
We are looking to hire one (1) intern who will work in our Cedar Rapids, IA, office. The internship will start in May 2026, last up to twelve (12) weeks with a potential to extend further, and requires 35‑40 hours per week. It is not available for students who have completed their undergraduate education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
We are unable to hire on a remote, work‑from‑home basis.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
This internship will offer asset‑management investment experience in supporting our international sales and marketing efforts. You will be part of the client relationship, sales & marketing department, working closely with our sales staff to create fund comparison reports versus competitors using Morningstar data systems. This hands‑on opportunity allows you to better understand the overall asset‑management business and how we grow assets at the company.
In practice, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting the sales team in providing follow‑up responses to questions clients have about the investment funds we manage.
- Creating reports for senior leaders of our company that demonstrate the results we are achieving in the international markets.
- Tracking and coordinating sales trades between our local distributors and internal reporting teams.
- Are currently enrolled full‑time at a college or university pursuing a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a similar field.
- Are available per May 2026 for an estimated 35‑40 hours per week.
- Have strong written & verbal communication skills.
- Are able to work as part of a team.
- Are detail‑oriented, reliable and dependable.
- Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Can work in our Cedar Rapids, IA office.
- Mentor support will be provided by the Managing Director, Strategic Partnerships, and you will work closely with the Associate Director and Sales Associate for the Strategic Partnerships team.
- You will be located in our Cedar Rapids office where you will have the chance to meet other interns.
- This internship is not available for students who have completed their college undergraduate education or who will graduate prior to the conclusion of the internship.
Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant’s qualifications, including the extent of the candidate’s relevant experience and other job‑related factors, and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
