Overview

Store Support role at The Home Depot – Join to apply for this position. This role involves a variety of non-sales functions to support store operations.

Position purpose:
Associates in Store Support positions are responsible for tasks such as ensuring an outstanding customer order fulfillment experience, assisting customers in the lot or providing administrative services. Direct customer or vendor interaction is sometimes required. Whether directing customers to store departments or merchandise, answering customer questions on product order status, handling cash management or program compliance, these roles help ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

These positions require cooperative work with other Associates, vendors, and carriers, the ability to work with little or some supervision, attention to detail, and proven time management skills. A high level of integrity is expected at all times, with responsiveness to operational concerns of all associates, while supporting store-specific business objectives and key operational responsibilities. Specific positions may include Office Associate, Order Fulfillment Associate, Lot Associate, and Customer Service Representative.

Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in-store and in the lot; provide administrative support where needed and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
  • Direct customers to departments or merchandise; respond to product order status inquiries.
  • Support cash handling and program compliance as required.
  • Collaborate with associates, vendors, and carriers; maintain focus on store objectives; demonstrate time management and attention to detail.
