Overview
Retail Assistant Store Manager - 2552 pensation: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour. We offer a commission structure that pays for every transaction processed and potential for commission above hourly base rate.

- Regular hours: most stores open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; many stores closed on Sundays.

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager with a minimum of six (6+) months of management/3rd key experience. The role supports day-to-day store operations, leads and develops store employees, recruits and retains talent, drives financial goals, and manages customer relations and satisfaction. This position supports a customer-centric environment and partners with the Store Manager to analyze financial statements and meet goals.
The role may involve working with jewelry, general merchandise, tools, electronics, and firearms at FFL locations.
The Assistant Store Manager earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity and a bonus based on store performance. Pay is influenced by location, qualifications, and experience.
Responsibilities Of An Assistant Store Manager- Foster a customer-centric environment; engage customers professionally and address issues promptly.
- Assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet First Cash standards.
- Recruit top talent through company-prescribed channels.
- Open/close the store, manage cash drawers and merchandise, and protect assets.
- Maintain asset protection through inventory control and loan documentation.
- Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store systems, and reporting.
- Analyze financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal setting.
- Ensure operating standards meet or exceed First Cash standards.
- Monitor loan qualifications and buying processes for value and integrity of loans.
- Complete assigned tasks and self-development training.
- Communicate store mission and profit objectives to employees; maintain product knowledge.
- Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Willing and able to perform duties for extended periods; able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as required by role.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise others; ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.
- Available to work across multiple locations as needed; flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
- Assistant Store Manager will work 40+ hours per week; hours vary by business needs.
- Computer literate; able to operate POS systems and standard office equipment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Cash handling experience required; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; excellent work ethic and business sense.
- Minimum age 18;
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
The employee commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Assistant Store Managers have the potential to earn 2–8% commission based on gross profit from personal performance; details provided during interview.
