• Perform prescribed CT - Computed Tomographic procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in the use of CT scan equipment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Document information seen during the exam on film or in writing.
• Relay relevant patient information to physicians as appropriate.
• Apply principles of radiation safety to minimize risk to patients, staff, and others.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule.
• Perform in other areas of the department as needed.

• Education:
  
  Associate Degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of an educational program in radiology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology, or a military training program of equivalent standards.
• Experience:
  
  One to two years of CT experience preferred.

• Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R)) and post-primary certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT)) within 6 months of hire. If hired prior to 4/13/12, and grandfathered by the state of Texas, CMRT may be required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
