Safety Specialist
- Quality Assurance Technician in Cedar Park, TX 78613 Pay: $31.00/hr

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

• Responsible for the management and supervision of activities to ensure the safety of employees. 30%
• Overseeing work spaces to ensure they meet safety standards and assist in investigating accidents 30%
• Facilitates data collection, initiates reports, and manage pertinent safety records set forth by OSHA, ETS-Lindgren and its customers. 15%
• Manage employee training for safety programs including On-boarding and Employee Safety Committee. 15%
• Coordination of chemical handling, waste storage and disposal 5%
• Collect Environmental data for reporting

• High School diploma or GED with a 2-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing or Construction Safety.
• Certification is not mandatory but proves the candidates proficiency. These may include completing the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 30hr course or
• Certified Safety Professionals (CSP) certification.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings
• Versed on Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
