Job Description

Within our M/D Totco Surface Engineering team, Electrical Engineers play a vital role in developing advanced measurement devices, data acquisition, and control systems that enable our customers to enhance operational efficiency.
This position offers a dynamic environment focused on innovation, professional growth, and teamwork. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to take ideas from concept through production and support throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Design, simulate, and test analog and digital circuits.
- Create PCB layouts using Altium or similar software and validate designs through laboratory testing.
- Write, test, and debug firmware for embedded control and data acquisition systems.
- Participate in design validation and testing at field test locations.
- Collaborate with project managers to plan tasks, estimate timelines, and document technical work.
- Provide ongoing support for industrial sensors, gas detection, and control systems.
- Ensure designs meet hazardous location, EMC, and other safety and regulatory standards.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Demonstrated ability in analog and digital circuit design.
- Experience with PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer.
- Hands‑on experience using measurement equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers).
- Strong problem‑solving and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent time management and communication abilities.
- Experience with firmware development and real‑time programming (C/C++, embedded systems).
- Knowledge of sensor technologies and signal conditioning.
- Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and JIRA.
- Experience designing electronics to meet UL, EMC, and other industry standards.
