AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN Master certified or experience equivalent (AUSTIN). Klingemann Car Care – our south Austin location is looking for a positive, motivated and experienced technician for immediate hire. Master certified or experience equivalent. We are a family owned, honest repair shop that has provided quality automotive service in the Austin area since 1972. We strive to educate our customers on repairs or services their vehicle requires and only recommend work that is genuinely needed.

• Perform diagnostic work, including OBD-II diagnostics on vehicles 1996 and newer.
• Handle a broad range of mechanical repairs with reliability and attention to detail.
• Communicate with customers to explain repairs and educate them on service needs.
• Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.

• Master certified or experience equivalent (certifications are a plus but not required).
• Comfort with OBD-II diagnostic work on vehicles 1996 and newer.
• Ability to perform most mechanical repairs and work with a range of systems.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Location:
  
  Austin area.

• Hours:
  
  Monday–Friday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm;
  Alternating Saturdays 7:30 am – 12:30 pm.
• Pay: $50,000.00 – $+ per year, dependent on experience and/or certifications.
• Uniforms provided.
• Health benefits provided by Blue Cross / Blue Shield, Vision, Dental and Life Insurance.
• Vacation available after 1 year of employment.
