All of our volunteers must first pass a background check and complete their volunteer packet. WE DO NOT ACCEPT WALK-IN VOLUNTEERS. See below for more details of the position.
More DetailsWe would like to have volunteers that would be willing to tutor residents as they work to get their GED. Additionally, we would like to have instructors that would be willing to teach classes for clients on parenting, budgeting, and general life skills. These classes could be recorded or in person.
Background checks are required. We are charged $10 for each background check, so we ask that the volunteers donate to cover this cost.
The link for this payment is given below. Once that payment is made, please email susu.collier to arrange for your scheduled time to volunteer. We ask that volunteers fill out a volunteer packet so they will be aware of expectations while volunteering.
