Installation Technician, General Labor
We are seeking experienced Data / Structured Cabling Technicians to support night-shift installation and migration work in an active facility. Technicians will be responsible for fiber and copper cabling installations, network hardware setup, and access point deployments while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPull, terminate, test, and label fiber optic cabling
Pull, terminate, test, and label copper cabling (Cat5e/Cat6)
Install and dress network switches and patch panels
Install, migrate, and remove wireless access points (APs)
Support IDF and AP migrations
Perform abatement and removal of existing APs, copper, and fiber cabling
Accurately test, label, and document all cabling work
Maintain clean and safe work areas at all times
Safety & Site RequirementsMandatory Ammonia Safety Training (required prior to site access; approximately 2 hours)
Ability to operate boom and/or scissor lifts
Must provide and wear required PPE, including:
Class E rated hard hat
Safety vest
Safety glasses
Attendance is critical; excessive or unexcused absences may result in replacement
Ability to work night shifts consistently
