Shop Technician, Rental

7:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Overtime and Saturdays may be required.

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs on customer-owned construction and aerial work platform equipment.
• Establish and maintain a service-oriented relationship with customers.
• Pick-up and delivery of equipment when necessary.
• Answer customer calls and inquiries.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Complete service reports and related paperwork before and after repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Completion of a formal technical training program preferred or at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of gas/diesel engines, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Automotive and Industrial Maintenance Technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; knowledge of DBS is a plus.
• Ability to communicate professionally via email, letters, and notes.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, bend, twist, and climb.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; no major violations in the past 5 years and no more than 2 minor violations in the past 3 years.

This role primarily involves working in the equipment shop, with frequent walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 lbs. May need to operate equipment to assess maintenance needs. Noise levels are moderate to high. Some time is spent in an office environment, sitting at a desk and using a computer. Flexibility to work Saturdays and overtime is required.
