Responsibilities
- Business Process Understanding & Improvement
- Learn and document current business processes across sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, and finance functions.
- Identify inefficiencies or gaps in workflows and recommend practical improvements.
- Assist senior analysts in process mapping and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to understand operational challenges.
- Reporting & Data Analytics (Power BI Focus)
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Partner with department leaders to understand reporting needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability.
- Support KPI development and reporting standardization.
- Translate business questions into data-driven insights.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Support
- Learn the company’s D365 environment and how it supports daily operations.
- Assist in evaluating how D365 is currently used and identify opportunities to improve adoption and efficiency.
- Support user training and documentation efforts.
- Partner with IT and senior analysts on system enhancements or upgrades.
- Help troubleshoot system or data-related issues.
- Collaboration & Learning
- Work under the mentorship of senior analysts.
- Take initiative to learn business systems, data structures, and reporting tools.
- Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Maintain documentation of processes, reports, and system workflows.
- Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Interest in business systems and data analytics.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Power BI (academic, internship, or professional).
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems.
- Understanding of distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory-based businesses.
