Purpose:

Performs multiple imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters. Provides continuity of patient care. Assists Radiologist with procedures. Purpose:

Performs multiple imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters. Provides continuity of patient care. Assists Radiologist with procedures. Adheres to Mercy One's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Mercy One.

• Prepares patient, room, and equipment for procedure.
• Collects history data from patient and provides patient education.
• Provides patient care in accordance with department policy.
• Takes radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
• Performs multiple imaging procedures and assists Radiologist with special procedures.
• Performs trauma scanning.
• Assists with CT Guided Biopsies.
• Performs 3D and angiographic scanning procedures.
• Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
• Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
• Based On Principles Of Growth And Development, Provides Care Appropriate To The Age Related Needs Of the Patients Served On the Assigned Unit, which may include:
• Birth-28 days:

0.0 FTE; 16 hour per 2-week pay period / Varied

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography.
• ARRT or NMTCB registered. Must have valid IDPH permit to practice. Mandatory Reporter. BLS. ARRT or NMTCB advanced CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire.
