Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Athletic Trainer to join our orthopedic clinic team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with orthopedic injuries or disease. This role requires a strong understanding of athletic training principles and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist and evaluate patients' injuries and conditions to develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Provide emergency care and first aid for sports-related injuries.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and overall wellness.
  • Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in athletic training.
Skills
  • Proficient in injury assessment and orthopedic conditions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to educate and motivate patients
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Employment Details

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Certification from the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of orthopedic conditions
