Our client is local to Cedar Falls, IA and is a full-service architectural design firm providing innovative design solutions for projects in the Education, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors. The firm offers an engaging and collaborative environment with opportunities to work on impactful projects of various sizes across the region, emphasizing a positive work culture, camaraderie, and a fun atmosphere.
Project Architect Responsibilities- Lead projects from Schematic Design through Construction Documents and Construction Administration.
- Coordinate with consultants/engineers and engage with owners.
- Define project requirements and develop design criteria.
- Schedule, estimate, budget, and planning to complete projects—drawings, models, images, material selection, etc.
- Use software to design, sketch, and provide drawings of proposed projects.
- Demonstrate professional client development skills.
- Show leadership skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
- 5-12+ years of professional experience.
- Proficiency in Revit is required.
- Experience in related project types preferred but not required.
- A licensed professional (or soon to be licensed) with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
- Strong design, technical, code, and detailing skills.
- Experience leading a project team and client presentations.
- Proactive written and verbal communication skills.
- Negotiable depending upon experience.
