Accounts Payable Accountant - University Advancement

Primary Function: Performs general accounting duties such as account reconciliations, preparation of complex journal entries and financial reports, and oversight of the daily expense process; communicates with campus partners on documentation requirements regarding expenses charged to UNI Foundation accounts; and supports other accounting activities within the Foundation Financial Services Office.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance.
• At least one year of accounting experience.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Nonprofit accounting experience and familiarity with accounting software applications preferred.
• Understanding of GAAP preferred.
• Student experience will be considered.
