Employment dates are from late January to late April or mid July. Housing provided.
Scenic Carpenter:
Constructs and loads-in all scenic elements for assigned productions. Completes shop improvement and organization projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Intermediate and advanced experience in proper and safe use of typical shop tools and equipment, wood and steel construction techniques or other related technical theater fields.
* Knowledge of safe operations of all tools and equipment used in typical theatrical construction and installation for wood and steel (personnel lifts, linesets, etc.)
* Must be able to carry 50 lbs. for 50 feet unassisted.
* Must be able to use ladders as a part of daily tasks.
Position is contingent on funding.
