Code Enforcement Officer

Cedar City Corporation is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Code Enforcement Officer position. Open until filled.

This position, under general supervision, identifies and solves a variety of quality‑of‑life issues categorized as nuisances and other incivilities of community concern.

Starting at $23.18/hour. The City participates in the Utah Retirement System and provides health, dental, vision, and life insurance.

• Must be a United States Citizen; or a legal permanent resident.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 19 years of age at the time of appointment.
• Must possess a valid Utah Driver License.
• Must have no felony or domestic violence convictions.
• Must be "Special Functions Officer" certified.
• Prior to hire, must be able to pass the P.O.S.T. physical fitness requirements.
• Consideration will be given for military service and Special Functions Certification.

• 1.5-mile run in sixteen minutes and eleven seconds.
• 14.5" vertical jump.
• 16 pushups.
• 30-second isometric plank.
