Overview
Iron County is accepting applications for a Part Time Assistant Cook in the Cedar City Senior Citizen Center. Position may work up to 20 hours per week. Must be able to work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Days and hours are not flexible.
Responsibilities- Performs a variety of duties in the Senior Center related to the preparation of meals for congregate and home delivery.
- Assist the cook in preparation of the meals and help with packaging and sealing for the Meals on Wheels process.
- Works under the direction of the Center Director.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of nutrition, sanitation and cooking standards
- Prefer work related experience for large groups
- Valid Food Handlers Permit
- Must obtain Serv Safe Certificate within 3 months of hire
