State Bank of Southern Utah is seeking an intern to work in the SBSU I.T. Department. Hours are flexible and will revolve around class schedules. SBSU strives to partner with local universities to identify Junior or Senior class students to fill our internship openings. The Intern will assist with the help desk, set up and troubleshoot employee computers and software, and other IT related tasks.

Internships at State Bank of Southern Utah are anticipated to last for 8 months. The schedule will be 20 hours per week Monday‑Friday, with flexible hours to fit your class schedule needs. The position will begin in May 2026 and go through December 2026.
This is an on‑site position--not a remote work opportunity.

  • Taking help desk calls from employees in our branches throughout Southern Utah
  • Set up and troubleshoot employee computers
  • Installing and performing upgrades on software
  • Securing proper disposal of old equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduate
  • Enrolled college junior or senior
  • Must pass a credit & background check
Skills
  • Windows OS
Education
  • Some college or better in Computer Science or related field.
  • Some college or better in Information Technology or related field.
