Fiddlers Elementary is seeking a Part Time Speech Paraprofessional to work 24.5 hours per week.

This position will remain open until filled.

• Conduct speech‑language screenings (without interpretation) following specified screening protocols developed by the supervisor.
• Provide speech‑language services to students, who, by the specific nature of the therapeutic services required, are not in need of full‑time monitoring of performance by a certified SLP.
• Implement documented treatment plans or protocols developed by the supervisor.
• Document student performance and progress toward meeting established goals and objectives or benchmarks and reporting the information to the supervisor.
• Assist with documentation, material preparation and other duties as directed by the supervisor.
• Schedule activities, prepare charts/records/graphs, enter information into record‑keeping program, and perform checks and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction and guidance of the Speech therapist and classroom teachers.
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans for the students and monitor their progress.
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities.
• Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists, social workers, occupational and physical therapists.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance and job performance is required.
• Support students with emotional or behavior concerns and assist them in developing appropriate social skills.
• Must have basic computer knowledge, be familiar with Google Docs and check email frequently. Must be willing to learn and use all computer systems and software as needed.
