Your Opportunity
This is your chance to teach students who actually need you. Not the kind of need that shows up in test scores - but the kind where you change someone’s trajectory.
You’ll lead a classroom, yes. But you’ll also help rebuild trust, stability, and purpose for girls who’ve had none of that. If you want easy, this isn’t it. If you want meaning, it’s hard to beat.
You’ll be backed by a school that’s part of a specialty trauma treatment center. We reward accountability, ownership, and growth. We expect a lot, and we give a lot.
What We Expect from You- Leadership You set the tone in your classroom and take full ownership.
- Resilience & Grit You show up. You deal with tough days and don’t make excuses. You’re steady even when it’s difficult.
- Team ability You’re easy to work with. You help when it’s not your job. You don’t bring drama.
- Growth-Driven You want to get better. You seek feedback, you read, you adjust.
- Student-First You focus on what’s best for the students. Especially when it’s inconvenient.
- Calm Under Pressure You don’t panic. You don’t blow up. You handle chaos with a clear head.
- No Ego You’re confident but not a jerk. You take the work seriously.
- Disciplined Execution You follow through. You prepare. You do the boring stuff that makes good things happen.
You’ll teach Science and possibly other core subjects based on student needs. This is an accredited high school with teacher-led instruction across all core areas. You’ll plan lessons, manage a classroom of 8-12 students, and track student progress. Most days include a mix of direct teaching and handling student support needs as they come up with the assistance of your assigned classroom paraprofessional.
