Position Summary

The SUU Aviation Outreach Coordinator is responsible for contacting and maintaining communications with recruited prospective students. Provides guidance throughout the admissions process; assists and supports Aviation outreach efforts. Supervises a team of student employees and maintains concurrent enrollment and international student inquiries.

Essential Functions
  • Assist in oversite and lead assignment of student outreach team.
  • Oversee student outreach team and outreach schedule.
  • Responsible for Hangar Tour set up and assignments.
  • Conduct group presentations and campus tours.
  • Provide follow-up correspondence & individual counseling to prospective students about the aviation program and admissions process.
  • Obtain information and training necessary for all outreach efforts.
  • Assist in outreach efforts for Aviation concurrent enrollment students & international students.
  • Back up and assist in campus and additional marketing recruiting events and activities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School or GED.
  • Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
  • Superior time management and ability to complete assigned tasks.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Two plus years' customer service experience.
  • Requires an associate degree and 2-4 years' related experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 Year / Bachelors degree.
  • Call center experience preferred.
Supplemental Information

Position is contingent on funding.

This position is a(n) 12 month contract, paid over 12 months of the year.

Due to recent changes in H1B visa fees, Southern Utah University is no longer able to sponsor international faculty and staff that require an H1B visa and are currently living outside of the United States.
