We're seeking an enthusiastic Construction Intern to support our project managers with tasks like estimating, coordinating logistics, and preparing material quotes. If you're currently pursuing a degree in construction management or civil engineering and are ready to grow, we'd love to meet you!

Things You'll Do

* Assist project managers to plan and review quantity takeoffs, set up project estimates, field measurement for budgeting and billing, pick-up plans, and specifications, as well as traffic control Computer Aided Design (CAD) drawings.

* Assist with daily business duties, including, preparing material price quotes, sampling and preparing submittal information for projects, coordinating logistics with customer orders, perform Viewpoint data entry.

* Input job data into estimating software.

* Learn about the construction industry through assisting managers.

* Track supply quantities for billing purposes.

Requirements

* High School diploma or equivalent.

* Currently enrolled in Bachelor of Science degree program studying Construction management or Civil Engineering.

* Intermediate knowledge of construction industry.

* Good public relations and communication skills.

* Good organizational skills.

* Ability to work under pressure, deal with budgets, and tight project schedules.
