Hydro Vac Swamper (travel required)
BHI, a nationally recognized leader in construction services, is seeking a hardworking, safety-minded Hydro Vac Swamper to join our traveling field crew based out of Cedar City, UT. The role is hands‑on, physically demanding, and essential to the safe and efficient operation of our hydro excavation trucks.
The Swamper works directly with the Hydro Vac Operator to perform crucial non‑destructive digging (NDD) around buried utilities and sensitive infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities• Assist the Hydro Vac Operator with NDD operations.
• Operate and maintain equipment while ensuring safety standards.
• Perform physically demanding labor and manage tool operations outdoors in all weather conditions.
Qualifications- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Ability to perform physically demanding labor for extended periods.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are mandatory.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
Competitive hourly wage of $20–$26
, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Work approximately 40–50 hours a week, Monday through Friday
