Responsibilities- Conducts routine audits of project quality programs using formal evaluation tools, providing feedback to Operations and Quality leadership on major issues, client perceptions, team performance, and recurring nonconformances
- Directs inspection, testing, and quality documentation, coordinating efforts among operations teams, consultants, material testing laboratories, and clients
- Develops and implements project-specific inspection and test plans, quality control plans, and supporting procedures
- Reviews material specifications including concrete mix designs, thermal controls, and other specialized quality requirements
- Leads quality-related risk management strategies to reduce exposure, improve efficiency, and enhance project profitability through proactive process control and mitigation
- Serves as the quality leader across one or multiple projects, accountable for quality management of work execution, materials, documentation, and closeout to ensure safe, efficient, and profitable project delivery
- Coaches, mentors, and trains project teams in quality management principles, procedures, and project-specific requirements
- Develops Quality staff to strengthen capability and improve retention
- Leads and administers core quality processes, including work planning, pre-activity meetings, material management, Quality Incident Reports (QIRs), lesson sharing, and follow-up inspections
- Defines, tracks, and reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and QIR metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Analyzes trends and recommends corrective strategies
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with owners, clients, subcontractors, designers, and key stakeholders to support collaboration and timely issue resolution
- Partners with site safety teams to ensure compliance with established safety standards, procedures, and performance goals
- Monitors quality-related costs and resource utilization against as-bid budgets; provides input to optimize billing, risk reporting, and testing accuracy while minimizing rework and claim exposure through QIR tracking
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Code Counsel and NICET
- 7 years of Quality Management experience within the Construction industry.
- USACE/NAVFAC/NRC Construction Quality Management certification desired.
- Ability to travel (limited) as needed for projects.

Salary: $90K-$140K annually DOE
