Hybrid school programs are growing and now serve many students across the state. Sonoran Learning Collective was launched in August 2024 to serve families in the North Valley seeking a hybrid educational model. With small class sizes of 6-8 students per class, we provide a location for parents to drop their students off and receive classroom instruction 2 days per week.
Our teachers partner with parents to provide a weekly guideline to be followed at home to complete remaining work by the following Monday.
We follow a set curriculum, much of which is Bible-based and holds a Christian worldview. While lessons are pre-planned by the publisher, teachers are required to plan ahead, lay out upcoming lesson dates, prepare for any extra crafts or activities, etc.
Our teachers truly enjoy being with young people and supporting their growth. They must have strong relationships with a small group of students and their families. They must have a high standard of excellence in terms of academic achievement and be familiar with learning standards. Finally, teachers need to deeply know their students and give them individualized support where needed.
This position is for the school year on Mondays and Tuesdays. We are currently offering a paid, 4-week training period on Tuesdays from 04/29/25 - 05/20/25 with signed teacher commitment for the following school year.
