Our client is seeking a proactive and organised SMSTS Grounds Supervisor for a long-term project in Catterick.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day grounds maintenance and landscaping activities on newbuild homes
- Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team of grounds operatives
- Ensure all works are completed safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
- Coordinate effectively with site management and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate site records and ensure compliance with site safety procedures
- Conduct toolbox talks and support onsite audits
Requirements:
- SMSTS certification (essential)
- First Aid qualification (essential)
- Fire Safety training/experience (essential)
- Must hold a full UK driving licence
- Experience supervising teams on construction or newbuild housing sites
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
