A Tier 1 construction contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major infrastructure scheme within a live Army base. This is a technically demanding role on a project valued in excess of £60 million. The environment requires individuals who are disciplined, adaptable, and comfortable working within a secure, operational military setting. Ex‑forces personnel are strongly encouraged to apply due to the nature of the client and site conditions.

• Setting out for major works packages in line with programme requirements.
• Ensuring works are delivered accurately to drawings and specifications.
• Maintaining site records, QA documentation, and as‑built information.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and supervising technical aspects of works.
• Supporting project delivery in line with safety, quality, and security standards.
• Working closely with the wider project team to ensure milestones are achieved.

All necessary setting‑out and survey equipment will be supplied by the contractor.

• Proven experience with a Tier 1 contractor.
• Demonstrable experience setting out on projects valued at £60m+.
• Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a secure and regulated environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• Must be a British National.
• Must be prepared to undergo client‑led security screening.
• Existing BPSS or SC clearance preferred.
• Ex‑forces background advantageous.
