An Automotive Engine Service Technician is responsible for repairing customer’s vehicles, performing factory required maintenance and inspecting vehicles for preventative procedures.
Automotive Engine Service Technician responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair vehicles correctly the first visit.
- Follow factory procedures and diagnosis data.
- Works with Service Advisors to provide corrective measures, costs, and time estimates.
- Works with Shop Foreman and Advisors to deliver vehicles in a timely manner.
- Achieves and Maintains Factory Required training and certification.
- Performs quality control checks and test drive after repairs.
- Follows repairs procedures and safety procedures correctly.
- Engine experience is a must.
- Uses equipment, and software to help diagnose and repair vehicles.
