The Civil & Structural Concrete Engineer is generally assigned to a project and he/she is in charge of producing documents and deliverables assigned by the Civil Project Leader related to Concrete discipline. He/She reports to the Civil Project Leader or to the Concrete Specialist for the peculiarities of the project and to the Group Leader / Head of Department for man‑hours assignment and quality of the  particular main activities and duties will be:

To guarantee the quality of the generated deliverables and their compliance with the contractual and company standards, procedures and work instructions;

To cooperate with the Project Leader and Concrete Specialists in the coordination of the activities related to the Concrete discipline, regardless of the location and distribution of the engineering centres;

To manage and issue design calculations reports and specifications, to check drawings and documents relevant to reinforced concrete and/or precast concrete, on the basis given by the Group Leader, in agreement with the Civil Project Leader;

To integrate the Concrete work design on the basis of the project data received from other engineering disciplines as instructed by the Project Leader;

To check and approve Vendor’s document (i.e. subcontractor construction design documents );

To guarantee assistance to the construction departments and site upon request, in reference to his area of competence, as per project needs and in coordination with the Project Leader;

To conduct technical training as per department needs and exchange experience with colleagues of the entire Tecnimont Group for new Design techniques;

To keep himself up‑to‑date about the technical specific improvement of the discipline;

Personal Attributes:

Minimum Bachelor, plus Master’s degree in Civil engineering is preferred

From 4 to 8 years of experience in concrete design/coordination, preferable in plant engineering companies in petrochemical, oil & gas, power or in a technical design office

Good knowledge of European and international codes and standards

Good knowledge in Auto Cad 2D drawings for modifying documents

User friendly in Autodesk Navisworks Knowledge of collaborative environment such as BIM
360

Fluent English speaker and writer is a must Availability to travel for short and long period (max 3 months)
Plus:

Knowledge of FEM Civil & Structural Design Software, such as SAP
2000, STAADKnowledge of Autodesk Revit Experience in Precast and or Pre-Stressed concrete structures

Basic knowledge of Project Management is a plus (e.g. Progress S‑Curve)
