Homewatch Care Givers at the Heart of the Bay is looking for compassionate and reliable CNAs, Home Health Aides, and Personal Caregivers to care for our clients in their homes.
Caregivers provide paraprofessional services to the company’s home care clients, as assessed in the care plan and in compliance with the client’s Service Agreement.
Time base:
Both full‑time and part‑time positions available.
Locations:
Castro Valley, Hayward, San Leandro, San Lorenzo.

- Providing companionship and ensuring client safety
- Assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulating, etc.
- Assistance with IADLs light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, transportation, etc.
- Engaging clients in meaningful activities and hobbies
- Must be at least 19 years of age and a high school graduate.
- One year of experience providing personal care services to the elderly at home or in a facility is preferred.
- Experience with childcare or care for developmentally‑disabled individuals is a plus.
- Must have a valid California Driver’s License. Ability to drive client in one’s own car is preferred.
- CNA and/or HHA certification is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid training and certification is required.
- Must be registered as Home Care Aide (HCA) with the State of California.
- Proficiency in English (reading, speaking, writing) is required; fluency in another language (e.g., Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin) is a plus.
- Ability to function with minimal supervision and maintain a professional relationship with the client.
- Must pass all background checks, drug testing, and health screenings per regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Must accept responsibility for maintaining skills and learning on an ongoing basis, as well as adhering to company policies.
- Assisting clients with personal care needs in accordance with their care plan.
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) in a safe and beneficial manner.
- Observing and recognizing changes in clients, and alerting appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Not administering medication or performing any procedures requiring a licensed nurse or registered therapist.

$18.00 – $21.00 per hour
