Express Service Technician (entry level):

Receive repair orders. Perform work as outlined in repair order efficiently and accurately when asked correctly and without any errors or damages. Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs. Communicate with office staff to obtain parts for repairs. Examine vehicles to determine if additional work is required. Notify office staff if additional work is needed or not needed, or if the repair will need additional time.

Document all work performed with all items used. Ensure customer vehicles are kept in the same or better condition than when they arrived. Keep shop area neat and clean - Clean any spills or dirt - Clean work area as needed, minimum on a daily basis. Be able to account for all shop-owned tools at all times. Monitor inventory. Perform maintenance to any shop equipment used.

Mechanic (3+ years’ experience required):

Perform all Express Technician Duties. Assess vehicles to accurately diagnose and repair issues. Communicate effectively with customers/advisor to determine their automotive requirements. Ability to understand and communicate vehicular defects or problems in a way customers can understand. Prepare documents for work estimates. Keep an accurate record of all work performed. Maintain and clear shop equipment and tools; ensure they are kept in safe and usable condition at all time.

Adhere to company work safety policies. Road test vehicles as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

1-year minimum experience working at an auto repair shop. Current valid driver license with good DMV record, clean DMV record preferred. Ability to drive automatic & manual vehicles. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Computer literacy (G-Mail, Google, Web-Browsing, All Data) Effective interpersonal and communication (both verbal and written) skills. Ability to reliably get to work on-time for each scheduled shift.

Exhibiting exceptional customer service skills. Highly organized with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with ability to multitask. Works well under pressure. Able to learn and adapt to changing work environments. Preform work tasks requested by management. Providing own tools is a plus. Technicians can expect frequent bending, sitting, and lifting of objects 50lbs or greater. Expect the work environment to be moderately loud to loud, occasional very loud repair equipment can be noisy.
