• Receive repair orders.
• Perform work as outlined in the repair order efficiently, accurately, and without errors or damage.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Communicate with office staff to obtain parts for repairs.
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional work is required.
• Notify office staff if additional work is needed or if the repair will need additional time.
• Document all work performed with all items used.
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept in the same or better condition than when they arrived.
• Keep shop area neat and clean – clean spills or dirt; clean work area daily.
• Account for all shop‑owned tools at all times.
• Monitor inventory.
• Perform maintenance on any shop equipment used.
• Maintain and clear shop equipment and tools; ensure they are kept safe and usable.
• Adhere to company work safety policies.
• Road‑test vehicles as needed.
• Perform all Express Technician duties and, for those with 3+ years’ experience, assess vehicles to accurately diagnose and repair issues, communicate with customers, prepare work estimates, and maintain accurate records.

• 1‑year minimum experience working at an auto repair shop.
• Current valid driver’s license with a good DMV record (clean record preferred). Ability to drive automatic & manual vehicles.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Computer literacy (G‑Mail, Google, web browsing, All Data).
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Reliably arrive for each scheduled shift on time.
• Exhibiting exceptional customer service skills.
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to multitask.
• Works well under pressure.
• Able to learn and adapt to changing work environments.
• Perform work tasks requested by management.
• Providing own tools is a plus.
• Technicians can expect frequent bending, sitting, and lifting of objects 50 lbs or greater.
• Expect the work environment to be moderately loud to loud; occasional very loud repair equipment can be noisy.
