Part Time Sales Advisor – Castleford (WF10 1PA
) – Plumb Centre

Salary: £12,826 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits.

About the role

This is a part time, permanent role working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday (07:30 am – 05:00 pm) and Saturdays 08:00 am–12:00 pm on a rota basis.

Responsibilities
  • Serving customers on the trade counter by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations.
  • Responding to customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.
  • Working within the warehouse – this will involve manual handling of heavy stock (e.g., boilers, radiators, sinks, and toilets).
  • Booking stock in and putting it away in the designated location.
  • Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Driving a 3.5 T van delivering plumbing and heating supplies to customers in the local area.

Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving licence.
  • Previous industry or merchant experience is desirable.
  • Prior face‑to‑face sales and customer service experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence interacting with customers to build strong relationships.
  • Team player who is happy to assist in all areas to ensure smooth running of the branch.
  • Eagerness to learn, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic.
