CNC Machinist

Location:

Castleford

Rates: £13.50 - £15.20 per hour, depending on experience. After training, shift allowance can bring rates up to £17.86.

Hours:

During training:
Monday‑Thursday 07:30 am‑4 pm, Friday 07:30 am‑4 pm.
After training—alternate early and late shifts, with a 17.5% premium on the basic rate:
Early:
Monday‑Thursday 6 am‑2 pm, Friday 6 am‑12.30 pm
Late:
Monday‑Thursday 2 било‑10 .Gray— Friday 12.30 pm‑6 pm

My client is a leading engineering manufacturing company that manufactures moulds from various metals. We are looking for someone with experience in turning and milling, who can set up and operate machines. Experience with Fanuc controls is an advantage but not essential.

• Experienced using lathes or milling machines
• Setting and operating machines
• 1st‑off inspection
• Ensuring the machine is in good working order
• Assisting with any other related duties as required
